New solution for those who can't find anything to watch on Netflix

Netflix, "What should I watch?" started to test the feature that will make life easier for those who think, with a limited number of users.

Netflix, which is the most used digital content platform with more than 200 million subscribers, launched the "Play Something" feature last April for those who can't find anything to watch. This feature, which opens random series and movies based on what you've watched before, is useful as well as being criticized for something.

When you press the Play Something button, you do not know in advance whether the content that will be opened is a series or a movie, and its type. This can unintentionally cause you to come across a type of content that you don't like. The new feature added to Netflix's home page will make it easier to find a TV show/movie to watch.

The digital broadcasting platform has updated its computer version. Now, just above the "Today's Top 10 List in the UK" section on Netflix's home page, TV series, movie and documentary recommendations will appear. By hovering over the content you like and clicking More Information, you can find the players, the subject, etc. You will be able to learn the details quickly.

In addition, when you press the “Play” button, you will be able to open the content easily. The best part of the newly recommended section is; It also shows the genre of the series or movie with expressions such as 'Engaging', 'Prankster', 'True Crime Checkers'. In this way, you can more easily decide whether the content in question appeals to your taste.

Netflix has yet to bring this feature to the Android or iOS app. It's only available in the Web version for now and may not have come to you as it's being rolled out gradually. Check specific, the recommended section will be added to the home page when it reaches you.
