India hit Pakistan first, then apologized!

Pakistan's Ministry of Defense claimed that a missile was fired by India. After that came the first statement and apology.

Pakistan's Ministry of Defense claimed that a missile from India entered the country's borders at a speed of Mach 3 at an altitude of 40,000 feet, moved inwards 125 km and crashed without causing loss of life. Thereupon, the Ministry of Defense of India made its first statement on the subject.

India says missile was fired as a result of 'technical malfunction'

Pakistani military spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar said in a statement on the evening of March 10 that a high-speed flying object from the Indian city of Sirsa crashed near the city of Mian Channu in eastern Pakistan. He also said in the statement:

As the flight path of this object is on the route of many national and international passenger planes in both Indian and Pakistani airspace, it endangered both their lives and the property and lives of the people in the city where it crashed.

Following this incident, Pakistan's foreign office summoned India's envoy in Islamabad to protest what it called an unwarranted violation of its airspace. He called for an investigation into the incident, which he said could endanger passenger flights and the lives of civilians.

In addition, he warned of the need for action, saying that such omissions and “misfires” could have unpleasant consequences for neighboring countries that have long been in conflict.

The Ministry of Defense, which made the first statement on the Indian side, confirmed the incident. However, he explained that they were sorry and that this was due to a "technical failure" that occurred during a routine maintenance. In the statement, it was said:

A technical malfunction caused a missile to be fired accidentally during a routine maintenance on March 9, 2022. It was learned that the missile fell in a region of Pakistan. Although the incident is deeply regrettable, it is also pleasing that there were no casualties due to the accident. The government took a serious stance and He instructed a high-level Investigation Court.

There are various comments on the subject. Some say that missiles that can cruise at such high speeds must have security measures with 2 or even 3 factors, so an investigation should definitely be opened, and this cannot be an accident. However, on the other hand, there are those who say that some of the ballistic and other missiles owned by India are from the cold war period and that worse technical failures may occur.
