Redmi's new flagship model, Redmi K50 Pro +, will be released with a processor surprise. Here are the details.
The Redmi K series, where Xiaomi offers high-end features at an affordable price, becomes diverse with new members. The countdown has begun for Redmi's flagship model, the Redmi K50 Pro+. Xiaomi general manager Lu Weibing talked about the smooth performance of the Redmi K50 in an interview. Along with this, he also released the Redmi K50 Pro+ poster.
Redmi K50 Pro+ will be introduced with MediaTek Dimensity 9000
After MediaTek Dimensity launched the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 and MediaTek Dimensity 8100, Xiaomi general manager Lu Weibing took a step forward. Weibing released the Redmi K50 Pro+ poster shortly after the processors were presented.
Lu Weibing stated that the new processors and MediaTek Dimensity 9000 run more smoothly than older processors. Although Weibing does not explicitly say that it is a Pro+ model, the report indicates that the K50 Pro+ may be the one to receive this chipset.
One of the first smartphones to use the newly released Dimensity 9000 is Redmi. In addition, Xiaomi is the first company to use the Dimensity chipset in high-end Redmi K series phones.
Redmi Pro+ will be launched with a 120W charger
According to reports, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 will have a total of 8 cores. So, with a single Cortex-X2 super core, 3 Cortex-A710 large cores and 4 Cortex-A510 small cores, it is considered one of the strongest silicon. At the same time, the chipset is paired with the ARM Mali-G710 GPU. Compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 this processor, the Dimensity 9000 wins all round.
Also, reports suggested that the new model will launch with a 120W super-fast charger that will charge in 17 minutes. Good at fast charging, Xiaomi also supports 120W charging with the Redmi K50 e-sports version. This means that it charges 100 percent in 17 minutes. Likewise, it is among the expectations that the Redmi K50 Pro Plus will show this performance. The company is scheduled to launch its smartphone series later this month.
