The Galaxy S22 Ultra, which holds the title of Samsung's most advanced smartphone, has earned the right to enter the Guinness Book of Records.
Introducing the Galaxy S22 series at its Unpacked event in February, Samsung's most talked-about model was the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the most advanced member of the series. Featuring a 6.8-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 108 Megapixel main camera, the phone is one of the most advanced Android devices available to buy right now. With the event organized by Samsung in the past days, with the participation of 1820 people, the Galaxy S22 Ultra earned the right to enter the Guinness Book of Records.
In the #EpicUnboxing event attended by 1820 people from 17 different cities, people from different parts of the world opened boxes at the same time. This record has been held by Xiaomi since 2019, with more than 700 people unboxing at the same time.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Guinness record: 1820 unboxings at once
Thanks to this event, Samsung not only broke a record, but also thanked its customers who bought it early by giving away a limited number of specially created boxes.
These limited edition boxes contained the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2. In other words, users had these accessories as well as Samsung's most advanced smartphone. In addition, a special thank you note was included in the box.
