In the past days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that they destroyed Russia's air defense systems with Bayraktar TB2 SİHAs purchased from Turkey, and shared the images on their social media account with the note "Bayraktar at work". This success, which attracted the attention of the whole world, was the guest of TIME, a US-based news and politics magazine.

TIME, in his article titled "Ukraine's Secret Weapon Against Russia: Turkish UAVs", mentioned that the Bayraktar TB2 SİHA plays an important role in the military struggle of Ukraine, which has been under Russian attack for 8 days.
Recalling the video shared on the Twitter account of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in which the Bayraktar TB2 and Russia's air defense systems were destroyed, TIME said in its article, "These black-and-white images show the devastating effect of Ukraine on the Russian forces."
The star of this video and other videos circulating on Twitter is Bayraktar TB2, a type of Turkish UAV that the Ukrainian army has been using more and more against Russian forces in recent days. Bayraktar TB2s are small and light. They have a wingspan of 12 meters and can stay in the sky for up to 30 hours at a time.
TIME Magazine stated that the cost of Bayraktar aircraft to the Ukrainian army is low; however, Bayraktar stated that the surface-to-air missile defense system destroyed by the TB2 may have caused nearly $50 million in material damage to Russia, adding that "the video reveals one of the important points of UAVs: they can cause disproportionate damage to the enemy."
