Powered by a 28-core Intel Xeon W processor, the Mac Pro scores 1152 in a single core and 19951 in a multi-core performance test. The M1 Ultra, on the other hand, scores 1793 in the single-core test and 24055 in the multi-core test. In this context, we see that the single-core performance is 56 percent higher.
During the event, Apple said that the M1 Ultra is up to 60 percent faster than the 28-core Mac Pro. Considering the test conditions, the figures given are exactly correct.
