WhatsApp is testing the ability to respond to messages. Similar to Instagram and Messenger, it will be possible to leave an emoji in a message on WhatsApp.
The messaging application WhatsApp, owned by Meta Platforms, is becoming more interactive every day. It looks like WhatsApp is working on a new feature that lets you react to messages with emojis.
WhatsApp is testing a feature where you can quickly reply to a message using a heart emoji, similar to reacting on both Facebook Messenger and Instagram. Thanks to this update, which is currently in beta, it will be possible to react to messages with emojis such as hearts and smiles.
How to use the reply message feature in WhatsApp?
As you know, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp serve under the same roof with Meta, which is managed by Mark Zuckerberg. The new feature, reported by WABetainfo, is already available on Instagram and Messenger.
Although Meta likes to use the features on these three platforms among each other, it has not shown the ability to react on WhatsApp until now. However, it is possible to say that the emoji response feature, which allows you to quickly respond to a message without using a keyboard, can be useful for WhatsApp.
According to the test images shared by WABetainfo, a tab with multiple emoji options opens when the message is selected to react in the WhatsApp chat. When users touch any of the emojis in the tab, the reaction appears under the message in the form of animation.
Let us remind you that this innovation in WhatsApp is currently under development for Android / iOS WhatsApp Beta and WhatsApp Web version. So it is not currently testable by any user.
