US President Joe Biden ignored Tesla in his social media post. The CEO of the company, Elon Musk, gave a harsh answer.
Considered one of the pioneers of change in the automotive industry, Tesla is preparing to increase the number of countries in which it is active by starting to operate in our country very soon. The company, which has achieved significant success in the sector with its vehicles with electric motors, has also been a source of inspiration for many automobile manufacturers that have been showing up in this field for years.
Although Tesla periodically comes to the fore with events that attract reactions, we can say that it is of great importance for the automotive industry. But apparently US president Joe Biden doesn't think the same way. In fact, Biden, who recently shared a social media post about electric cars and ignored Tesla, received a harsh response from the company's CEO, Elon Musk.
Tensions tightened between Elon Musk and Joe Biden
US President Joe Biden recently shared on Twitter about the investments made in the electric car industry and the employment provided. Biden, who talked about the latest situation of US manufacturers Ford and GM in this field, interestingly ignored Tesla.
The following expressions were used in the post;
Ford invests 11 billion dollars to produce electric vehicles and creates employment for 11,000 people across the country.
GM is making the largest investment in its history: $7 billion to build electric vehicles, and it creates 4,000 jobs in Michigan.
While the post in question drew the reaction of some segments, the response from Tesla CEO Elon Musk was not delayed. The ropes between the duo, who did not get along very well, were tense with the last event.
Elon Musk responded to Joe Biden with the following statements;
Tesla has created more than 50,000 jobs in the US to manufacture electric vehicles. It also invests more than double that of GM and Ford.
