Gmail interface has changed: Here's what's new

Gmail, one of the world's most popular email services, recently received a design update. So what has changed?

Gmail, one of the world's most popular e-mail services offered by Google to users, was renewed after years and gained a more modern view. In this context, important changes were made so that users can more easily access platforms that work in integration with the service. Here are the details…

What has changed with the new Gmail interface?

The web version of Gmail, which has over 1.5 billion users worldwide, recently received a design update that directly concerns both corporate and personal account holders. With the new update, an application column has been added to the left corner for easier one-stop access to Google Chat, Meet and Spaces applications in Gmail.

With the update, users will have more customization options. On the other hand, conveniences such as collecting e-mails from certain sources in groups and enabling users to find them easily will be offered.

Apart from this, let's mention that with the new update, notification bubbles used in some messaging applications to attract the attention of users more easily. In this way, users will have the opportunity to easily see incoming notifications from the lower left corner.

Users who do not like the changed design of the Gmail web version will have the opportunity to return to the classic design from the settings section until April. However, the new design will become a standard from the second quarter of 2022 and there will be no turning back.
